Washington County has launched archaeological and historical investigations in preparation for the removal and reinternment of individuals buried within the Wachtel/Stine Family Cemetery, located at the Forty-West Landfill near Huyett’s Crossroads. R. Christopher Goodwin & Associates Inc., of Frederick, has been retained to direct relocation of individuals from this historic cemetery.
